Leadership

John Maxwell, one of the foremost leadership gurus of the 21st century stated that, everything rises and falls on leadership.
Since time immemorial to date, leadership is indeed the crucial marker upon which life in all its definitions unfolds. However and in spite of that, there remains a lot of myths, misconceptions, misunderstandings, understatements and diverging articulations of what leadership is.
The field of leadership is inundated with a lot of debate, discourse, research and even confusion as a direct result of what so many deemed authorities have propounded. What is undeniable is the  fact that there is no coherency, consistency and rapport in what has been propounded thus far. This is what inevitably precipitates and matesticizes debate and in some cases confusion on this cardinal aspect of human existence.
Debate and confusion on leadership comes in different forms ranging from whether it is a science or an art, how it is measured and determined to whether leaders are born or made. Scholars and practitioners jostle around these issues and many others in a bid to apprehend, articulate and practice leadership and its associated tributaries correctly and in its original pragmatic essence
I do believe that my contribution on the leadership landscape through various mediums and platforms shall go a long way in addressing and rectifying this anomaly plaguing the field of leadership and the practice thereof.  There is an urgent demand for examinations, re-examinations and cross-examinations on leadership and i intertwine such in my models and leadership processes.
May the leaders rise…
