Regarded as one of Africa’s foremost leadership authorities, Dr. Patson Dzamara is a native of Zimbabwe. He is a vibrant voice in the corridors of leadership, emancipation, human development and empowerment.
By the grace of God, he is a philosopher, leader, motivational speaker, life coach, educator, author, management and leadership consultant, career coach, team builder, counselor and a philanthropist.
The mainstay of his purpose is leadership. He believes that his mandate is to lead and develop other leaders through leadership consultations, leadership resources – books/CDs and leadership speaking.
Leaders, scholars and professionals from different fields are using Dr. Dzamara’s books as handbooks worldwide in leadership development, personal development, team building, career development, life coaching and development.
Born in 1986, from early youth an incessant passion for leadership and human development ignited in him and this has set him on a trajectory of knowledge assimilation and inevitably the accumulation of experience in the area of his calling.
Dr. Dzamara serves in various leadership capacities for various local and international organisations.
He did his studies through various local and international institutions in areas including business administration, business management, theology, Christian leadership, personnel management, marketing, psychology and business leadership. He is also a member of many professional bodies as a leader, entrepreneur, educator and consultant.
As a prolific instructor, Dr. Dzamara lectures at various institutions around the globe in areas including leadership, management, marketing, entrepreneurship, personal development, motivation, team building, career development, social development, counselling and theology. He also presents on various radio programmes in Zimbabwe.
Dr. Dzamara has a deep passion for growth and emancipation. He is the founding curator of Off The Hook Group – comprising of five arms.
He is the founder and president of Off The Hook Network – a nonprofit making organization, whose major areas of focus are leadership development, career development, talent development, personal development and spiritual development. The organization is reaching out to all social groups and even to marginalized communities but the mainstay of its focus are the youths. Off The Hook Network is also involved in various charity initiatives.
Dr. Dzamara is the founder of Off The Hook Leadership Development Institute whose main thrust is to provide a platform for the development of people into various strategic leadership positions and for the development of social development models and mechanisms.
He is the Managing Director of Off The Hook Consultancy and as the principal consultant, he travels extensively conducting seminars, workshops, speaking at conferences, building teams and developing capacity. He personally trains, mentors and coaches at some of the country’s largest corporations, leadership roundtables, leadership conferences, seminars and other leadership development opportunities.
As a prolific author, Dr. Dzamara publishes several of his works through Off The Hook Publishers, which he established with the desire to reach out to everyone who needs information and provide a platform for budding writers to realise their potential.
His passion for excellence catapulted him to establish Off The Hook Solutions, which provides counseling, rehabilitation and advisory services on various issues to individuals and organizations.
His ability to concoct his ideas in a concise and precise manner gives him a cutting edge. He is also able to intertwine concepts of emancipation with biblical principles and this enriches his impact and prowess in dealing with different individuals and different organizational dynamics.
